TWO COUNTRY BOYS - GLEN CAMPBELL and JOHN DENVER

Here are two great hour long music shows featuring some great country fun with two of the biggest stars of the 70’s -

THE GLEN CAMPBELL GOODTIME HOUR -

This September 14, 1971 broadcast featured John Wayne, Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Jerry Reed and Three Dog Night.  The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour is an American network television music and comedy variety show hosted by singer Glen Campbell from January 1969 through June 1972 on CBS. He was offered the show after he hosted a 1968 summer replacement for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. The show was one of the few rural-oriented shows to survive CBS's rural purge of 1971.

THANK GOD I’S A COUNTRY BOY

A musical-variety special highlighting the country music background of folk singer/songwriter John Denver from 1977 featuring Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Roger Miller and Mary Kaye Place.  This song filled TV special will keep your toes tapping and comes complete with the original vintage network commercials and promos.  In fact those famous John Cameron Swayze commercials for Timex are almost as much fun as the show itself.
