WOODY ALLEN TWO VERY SPECIAL 60’S TV SPECIALS


WOODY LOOKS AT 1967 - 12/27/1967 - guests Liza Minnelli, Aretha Franklin, John Byner & William F. Buckley - A few years after Perry Como left as host, Kraft Music Hall was revived as a regular series from 1967 to 1971.  There was no set host during this period and various guest hosts ranging from singers to comedians.  This special night was hosted by Woody Allen at the end of 1967 as he looked back at a year that was.  Aretha sings “Respect” and “Chain of Fools”.  In comedy Woody plays a man who overreacts to his wife’s mini-skirt and plays “baby Bobby Dimple”.  The final comedy skit is a laugh riot and Woody and Liza do a Bonnie and Clyde skit.  William F. Buckley provides political commentary.

THE WOODY ALLEN SPECIAL - 12/21/69 -  guests include The Fifth Dimension, Billy Graham, Candice Bergen, Joe Silver and Barney Martin.    Woody performs a stantup comedy routine and acts in several skitst with Candice Bergen [.  Woody interviews Billy Graham.
